Caution
The first relevant parent behavior concerns the amount of contact that parents give children right before separation. The more parents hold and touch children and the less children play prior to parents’ departure, the more distressed children are when parents leave (Weintraub & Lewis, 1977).

In the day care business and with our plan, success is assured. Parents are looking for quality care and our goals are to help the children feel good about themselves and expand their knowledge in the world surrounding them. We will enhance the children’s mind, body, and spirit “Holistic Education.” The center provides a warm and loving environment for the children while away from home.

Children expand their knowledge through biological and social maturation. Parents are asked to assist in the teaching process of their children. We realize during the first few days of school your children will be introduced into the program slowly, because the first few days in the center is sometime difficult for the parent and the children to let go. This is very normal but it is regarded as the adjustment period. We encourage the parent to make sure you kiss and hug your children before saying good-bye. We also advise after comforting your child, please deliver him/her into the loving hands of the staff, this will smooth the process for your child not feeling deserted.
